Jessica Stroup

Jessica Leigh Stroup is an American actress, best known for her role as Erin Silver on 90210, Max Hardy on The Following and Joy Meachum on Iron Fist, which is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

 

Jessica left her home town in South Carolina at age 17 and headed to Los Angeles, where she started out in modeling and then transitioned into acting. From there, she quickly made LA her permanent home and hasn’t stopped working since.

 

Jessica’s film credits include starring opposite Brittany Snow in the horror remake Prom Night. The film was a hit for Screen Gems and earned a No. 1 spot at the box office. She was a lead in FOX’s  The Hills Have Eyes II and also featured alongside Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis in the Universal comedy hit Ted.

 

Additional feature credits include the The Informers with Billy Bob Thornton and Winona Ryder, indies Homecoming and Broken, the hit film This Christmas for Screen Gems, and the comedy School For Scoundrels.

 

In television, Jessica played the role of “Silver” for 5 seasons on the CW’s 90210. For the last 2 seasons of Fox’s The Following, Jessica Stroup played series regular role “Max Hardy”. Other television credits include guest starring roles on HBO’s True Blood, Grey’s Anatomy, October Road, and recurring roles on the Fox animated show Family Guy and CW’s Reaper.

 

Jessica’s most recent appearance on the big screen was alongside Tom Cruise in Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. She can be seen in the Netflix/Marvel series Iron Fist, currently airing on Netflix.
